April 19, 2015 - RJ Returns and Undead Messengers

Last Exit

RJ returned to the show after a long absence. He was joined by 3/5th of Undead Messengers, Tim, Olivia, and Darryl. We had Darryl and EVD play Hide and Go Beat, giving EVD a new toy to seek with, a light with two red LED's on it. He failed to find Darryl in the allotted time and was blasted with a Rod Stewart record that knocked him silly. Tim also got hit with what was left...  Mr. Linda (ahem, Crappy) called in off air to say he was off to Disney Land. Other than that, it was just another night of awesome music, talk of movies, and much more.

April 12, 2015 - Breaking in the New People...

Last Exit Group Shot

Present were, EVD, Just Joe, Mr. Linda, or somebody who used to be, or maybe still was, Crappy The Clown, or maybe another one of his alternate personalities, even he didn't know for sure, three fifths of the band Undead Messengers, Olivia, Tim, and, John, their new guitar player, it was his first time here, along with his girlfriend Robyn, and another WVBR DJ, Justin. Undead Messengers brought a newly remastered track with them, which was played, it sounded great. Justin stupidly commented on the presence of baking sheets upstairs, and Russian Roulette was played. If a bullet played, Justin would get hit over the head with said baking sheet. If no bullet, Justin would get to pick whom he would bash with it. A Bullet, a cover. Just Joe bashed Justin in the head repeatedly until he was unconscious. Then EVD duct taped him, and then a melee ensued, with a lot of people getting duct taped, and Justin got killed, err, I mean, went home, right, he definitely went home, that's our story and we're sticking to it. Azkath brought a bunch of the worst movies ever made, really obscure ones, like "Let My Puppets Come", from 1976, and "Eaten Alive", from 1980, the former being a puppet porn thing, featuring anatomically correct puppets, and puppet bestiality, and the latter a cannibal Italian movie with people eating snakes alive, and eating each other. They both featured male anatomy getting ripped off, and the cannibal one had a lot of naked boobs in it, but then a lot of them got eaten, too. Everybody watched these, and told what they saw, it was disturbing. Azkath played a little of the new Nelson song for Just Joe, just a little, which deeply disappointed me, I wanted to hear more of it, which even Just Joe didn't want to do, but, if Bi-Coastal Tim, and/or Lance had been there, I'm sure they would have agreed with me. There were segments of Movie Time, Just Joe had actually seen eight movies, counting the two disgusting ones he watched and helped provide commentary for here tonight, but the other ones were all mostly kid/family movies like, "The Brave Little Toaster"! EVD talked some more about that video game he's obsessed with. The last hour was The Old School Hour...

April 5, 2015 - We Love Satan Easter Show

IMG 7456

So this was our traditional We Love Satan Easter Show. Both Randy and Just Joe decided to boycott the show based on things that have happened to them in the past. Instead we had a different array of people, and a lot of fun was had. Joining us, aside from our weekly regular co-hosts in Arydaea and EVD, we had Crappy the... ur, Mr. Linda, and Jim Evans (JR) of Hollow Bodies. We also had the Last Exit debut of Nathan Bobbett, who had previously visited us on February 28, 2015 for Where Did the Road Go? when he was working sound for Lorna Reynolds. I may have lured him in after looking at his facebook page and realizing that he was a Bronie. I MAY have said it was a We Love My Little Pony Show. Regardless, he was there. As was Luke, also a guest from that same night on Where Did the Road Go?, and as an anthropology student, he just wanted to observe. After a while, he started growing horns, and after insisting he didn't believe in any of it, he left.

I had a present for EVD. It was nice and evil, and I thought he would appreciate it. I took some of Eric's clones' remains from a few weeks ago, and cloned a bunch of 'little Erics'. They were all around 6 inches tall, and I locked them in a sound booth. I thought EVD would appreciate the mad scientist aspect. I was wrong. And then they were lose in the building causing havoc. Luckily JR went to take care of them... and apparently started eating them. Their taste description was not appetizing. There are still a few running around I think...

After it came out that Nathan had been tricked into coming into the show, we gave him the gift of mousetraps, then we debated the power of Satan vs My Little Pony. Eventually Nathan saw the light. And EVD kept tormenting him with the Pooh Stick. JR and Mr. Linda played some songs on an acoustic JR brought with him, and near the end, Satan texted me to say he would be by for No Pants Day in a few weeks. Whatever form that will take...

March 29, 2015 - The Calm before the Storm

KarynSo this was a quiet show, hosted only by myself, Azkath. It was actually a rare pre-recorded show, while we went to see the debut performance of Karyn Crisis' Gospel of the Witches at the Trick Shot Billiard Hall in Clifton Park, NY. You can see the interview from that in the interview section as well as some more pictures. We also met some new bands, and should be getting material from them to play soon, and talked to the booker out that way who will be adding his upcoming shows to our concert listings. It was a nice club, well worth the trip.

As for this show, I start out with some newer stuff, talk a bit about the history of the show and next week's We Love Satan Show, and as I get going I play a lot of indie stuff that we have had on over the years. Last hour is the Old School Hour as usual.
