April 13, 2014 - Helen Wheels Tribute

PeterAzkath's guest on his talk program, Where Did The Road Go?, which airs in the hour right before LE had been Peter Robbins, and he stayed for the first hour of LE, as his sister was the late Helen Wheeler, of The Helen Wheeler Band, and also of Blue Oyster Cult, and the first hour of LE was a tribute to her. Peter brought a CD spanning twenty years of her music. As each track was played, he talked about what it was about, what was going on in her life at the time. He talked about her life and career.

Also present were, Just Joe, Eric, Eric's friend, Dan, and another friend of Eric's. A game of Hide And Go Beat was played. Just Joe would hide, and Eric would try to find him. If Eric couldn't find him, Just Joe would get to beat Eric with a wiffle bat. If Eric found Just Joe, Eric would get to beat Just Joe with the bat. Just Joe got to pick a song in the time in which he would have to hide, and Eric got to pick a song, in which while it played, he would look for Just Joe. Just Joe, big surprise, wasn't too smart with his pick, his song was only about three minutes long. Eric picked a song that was over five minutes long. But Just Joe still won, and he got to beat Eric. Yeah, right, good luck with that. He gave him five really hard smacks with the bat, and, of course, Eric didn't react one bit, asking for another whack, which he got, and, of course, still no reaction, in fact, of course, he enjoyed the whole thing. Just Joe learned, as others have, that getting to beat on Eric isn't really winning, he loves it, and is indestructible. Topics were discussed, like the WWE, and Steven Colbert taking over the late night slot from Letterman. There were segments of Movie Time. The last hour was The Old School Hour, Just Joe got to pick some songs from the cabinet for that...

April 6, 2014 - Zetro Souza and Armageddon Interviews

Present were James, Rick from The Metallic Onslaught, and, Dave from the band Spater. Dave is the founder of the annual Finger Lakes Metal Fest, a free event where Spater and nineteen other bands would be performing. The Metallic Onslaught hosts this event, which was fast approaching. Dave talked about, and promoted it. Two of the members, the vocalist/guitarist, and the drummer, of the band Armageddon, who would also be performing at The Finger Lakes Metal Fest, phoned in for an interview, bracketed by their songs. They rock. At 2:00, Steve AKA Zetro Suaza, from many bands, including Exodus phoned in for a half hour interview, a very good one, hearing him talk about his thirty years in the metal scene. His new project is the band Hatriot, which also features his two sons. Music from all the bands he has been in was played. There were segments of Movie Time. The last hour was The Old School Hour...

March 30, 2014 - Dave Brockie (GWAR) Tribute

Just JoePresent were, Just Joe, Crappy the Clown, and James. The previous Thursday, March 27th, had been National Joe Day, where everyone gets to be Joe for a day. So this LE was the celebration of Just Joe's day. It was also Just Joe's first time in the new studio. He was confused and got lost. He is easily confused. Azkath had invented a brand new game for Just Joe's special day... It was called Hide And Go Beat. Since this studio is huge, the game involved hide and seek. Everyone got a chance to hide, and someone else would look for them, if they found them, then the found person got a beat down, if not then they got a surprise. Some of the results, Just Joe got a surprise, Turkish Delight, Arydaea got to beat Just Joe with a wiffle ball bat, but she wasn't feeling like it, so Darksyde was Just Joe's surprise, and he administered the beat down, because he loves Just Joe so much. James got my crotch your faced by Just Joe instead of a beat down, well, almost, he threw Just Joe off him, but it was still a traumatizing experience. James was also mad at Just Joe because, when Just Joe blew up the underground tunnels at the old studio, three weeks ago, James got trapped down there, that was where he had been for the past three weeks. Azkath let Just Joe and James each pick something to play from the music cabinet. This was also a tribute show to Dave Brockie, the vocalist for the band Gwar, who had passed away this past week. Crappy The Clown, who was very good friends with Gwar, shared memories and stories about Dave, and did a dramatic reading of one of their songs, "The Performer", which he suspected might have been written about him. Lots of Gwar music was played all throughout the night, and the program began and ended with their songs. There was also a part of an interview that Azkath had done with Dave Brockey, twenty years ago, you can watch the entire interview below. There were segments of Movie Time, though Just Joe lost the notepad he had written down what he had seen on, so he had to do it from memory, which he has none of. The last hour was The Old School Hour...
