Recap by Fire Eater Wizard
Once again, something happened that only occurs every 5 or 6 years. Last week, LE, and Christmas Day both began at midnight, and so now, New Years Day and LE did the same. It was a Russian Roulette Show. All night the computer would randomly pick songs, and, every time a bullet, that is, a cheesy '80's song, any over played song, covers, Christmas songs, or weird songs, played, The Wheel Of Satan would be spun, and it would command that something be done to someone. And then it would pick to whom it would happen, and who would get to do it... Rick, Randy, and Lance, all from The Metallic Onslaught, were there, as were Little Gorgar, Adam, and, Kal. Tim got to hammer Lance with The Giant Hammer, only he wasn't very good at it, so Azkath took the hammer and beat the crap out of Lance to show Tim how it should be done. Tim and Randy went into the basement, and got Idosed, which meant they listened to sounds for a long time, that alter your brain waves, and make you do strange things. Randy came back screaming that there were spiders all over him, so they hit him with stuff, to knock them off, of course. Tim was just acting kind of loopy, and he finally told us what had happened the week before, when he had rushed out, saying he was going to please Satan, and then had called in screaming and cackling maniacally. He said he had done some truly evil stuff, he had gone 30 miles an hour in a school zone. Of course, school was closed and there were no children, it being 3:00 on Christmas Day. He also said he had broken the top off of a soda can, so it could not be recycled, and torn the "Do Not Remove" tags off the mattress on his bed, and he had rolled into a handicapped parking space, and sat there for a whole minute, and had seriously considered going into the store and making his purchase, while still parked there, and, he had done 30 miles an hour through a yellow light. There was probably more, but Azkath told him to stop, that he didn't think Tim was helping himself at all here. Tim said that he just hoped he could be forgiven. Adam got a lap dance on the barbed wire board from Just Joe. The screams were quite something. After, when asked which was worse, the barbed wire, or Just Joe, he said definitely Just Joe. Then Adam got the belly crunch, he got crushed between Randy's and Rick's bellies. Adam said he thought a few ribs had been broken. There was a lift the anvil contest, among Rick, Randy, and, Just Joe. Amazingly, Just Joe won that, although, he kind of impaled himself on the anvil, so he got to pick a song, after he had recovered sufficiently  enough to do so. Then it was Just Joe humps everyone. Just Joe's Hugging Music played, only now it was his Humping Music, and it was much faster for some reason, and he humped everyone. He Humped Tim and Lance together, and Lance got Just Joe's scrotum in his face. Lance was severely traumatized, quite understandably, and was curled up in the corner crying. Tim was now manly Tim again, and was furious that he had had to endure such treatment. he said he was leaving, that he was going to do more things to please Satan. He took the still traumatized Lance with him. A while later, they called in, and Tim was cackling maniacally again, and Lance was screaming for help. Azkath hung up on them, saying that, after last week, he knew there was nothing anyone could do. Poor Lance hadn't been there in at least a year, and I am sure he is sorry he didn't just keep it that way. The wheel said Demon's pick. Azkath picked Kal to get his hand shut in a rat trap. Kal's screams were also quite something. Just Joe made the mistake of saying something about Kal's hat helping, so Azkath put Kal's hat on Just Joe, and slammed his fingers in the trap. The hat was no help, Just Joe screamed in agony. There was a chop contest, Azkath and Foul Mouth Girl each chopped Rick to see who did it better. Rick was asked to pick. It was tough, he said they were about the same, but finally he went with Foul Mouth Girl, her chop made more noise, so she got to pick a song. Once again, tough Rick did not make a sound, or react, to the chops. Then it was everybody dance. Everyone danced to what sounded like Viking music. It inspired violence, Just Joe and Randy were fighting with the hammer and a sign. Then it was catch the anvil, Azkath threw it to Just Joe, who didn't want to, but caught it, sort of, and then it fell on him. Just Joe said he thought he had a few broken ribs, and needed to go to the hospital. Azkath told him he would be fine. Mark Anbinder, a long time WVBR personality, was there for a little while. His name was not in the bullet list, but he did do some unintentional gymnastics with the anvil. Azkath shut Kal's fingers in the rat trap again, because Kal used the expression "sending a shout out", and Azkath said there was no shouting, but that he knew how to fix that. Since the shout out was to me, sorry, Kal, and thank you. There were three segments of Movie Time throughout the night, with everyone participating in different ones... And thus went The New Years Show. It was a night filled with mayhem, brutality, hilarity, and, disgusting and disturbing stuff...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard
Tim was there, as was Rick from The Metallic Onslaught, Adam, Nikki, and Kyle. Adam got repeatedly hit in the face with a cookie sheet by Nikki, 'til he was totally down and out, and seeing stars, lots and lots of stars. There were three segments of Movie Time, with everyone participating in various ones. There were some discussions of the paranormal, along with some good suggestions to be checked out if you are interested in it. Azkath had a ton of new music, so much he didn't think he could fit it all in in one show, even a six hour one, so a lot of very cool new music was played. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour, and, for that, Azkath had some really cool, hard to find selections... Also, last week, Lance had been severely traumatized by having Just Joe's scrotum in his face. Then Tim, but not girlie Tim, manly, angry, Jerk Tim had taken him home, as they had driven there together. Tim had said he was going to do more things to please Satan, angry Tim had been brought out because he had also been humped by Just Joe, although Lance had definitely gotten the worst of that experience! Tim had called in again, just like when he had left on Christmas, also saying he was going to please Satan, cackling maniacally, and Lance was screaming for help. Lance was not there tonight, but Azkath said he had spoken with him... He said Lance said Tim had been driving at like a hundred and ten miles an hour, that he was not only texting on his own phone while he was doing that, but that he also grabbed Lance's phone to call in on, so he was on two phones, he was throwing stuff left and right out of the car, and he was trying to throw Lance out of the car. So poor Lance had a really horrible night that night, first getting tea bagged by Just Joe, which is bad enough to scar one for life all on it's own, and then enduring the ride home from hell with angry Tim. When Tim is his girlie self, like he was tonight, he doesn't remember the stuff he does when he is angry Tim. He said he thought he might have possibly been going just a tad, like maybe two miles, if even that over the speed limit, and he speculated that perhaps Lance was only traumatized because of what had happened to him before they left, the Just Joe thing. So Tim is like our version of The Incredible Hulk... Don't make him angry, you wouldn't like him when he's angry!

Keith, the vocalist and bass player for the band Drop Head was there for the first few talk breaks. Tracks from his band's CD were played. They rock, is their website. Jeff, from the band Birth A.D., and Mike, from Pyramid Sound, the studio where Jeff's band is recording, were there for most of the night. This LE resembled more a talk show than a music one, as Jeff proved to be someone with a lot of interesting things to say. He could probably be a stand up comedian, he said a lot of very funny things about metal music, and did a lot of really funny impressions of metal musicians. Also, in the course of his conversation, he got the talk turned to politics and social issues and there were long discussions of those. Then there was a lengthy discussion on the music, and media industry, and their refusal to except the changing landscape for their products, and their trying to stop it, instead of learning to adapt to it and embrace it. And the state of music today was also discussed. Lots of tracks from Birth A.D.'s CD were played. They rock, is their website, and they are on facebook, myspace, and youtube. Also present for this LE were, Tim, Lance, and Rick from The Metallic Onslaught. Lance told us about his nightmare ride home with Tim a couple weeks ago. In their attempts to make Tim more manly, they have apparently broken him, whenever he is angry Tim, he completely changes. Most of the time he is himself, but when he is angry Tim... Lance said he had been driving like a maniac, and had even punched him in the mouth, punched Lance, his best friend, when he told him to take it easy and slow down. Rick said Tim had been fine when he drove him home last week. When Tim is himself, he doesn't remember what angry Tim did, so he denied what Lance was claiming. Lance did have a swollen lip, though, which would suggest that he was telling the truth. Tim said that he was going to warm up the car, he would be driving Lance and Rick home. He went out. Soon an angry sounding Tim kept shouting for them to come on already! Hurry up! Get out here! Now! Lance said that was exactly how he had sounded the night of the ride home from hell, and did not want to get in the car with him. They told him Rick would be there, Rick could take Tim, and protect Lance if need be. So they left, and I guess we shall hear how they fared at some point. There were three segments of Movie Time with Tim, Lance, and Rick participating in the first one. Just Joe had seen no movies this week, he finished watching the TV series "Lost". Foul Mouth Girl contributed two movies to the last segment. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard
Kal was there. He said he would have been there last week, but someone had stolen the fly wheel out of his car so it wouldn't work. Kal blamed Just Joe for this. Just Joe denied it, but he acted really suspicious, and his protests were not very believable. Azkath gave Just Joe a Joe Challenge. He had to try to get the girl Kal had brought with him into the basement. Just Joe did it easily by saying there was candy in the basement. Turns out, there really was candy in the basement, Just Joe came back extremely hyper active from eating all the candy. Later, Azkath played the music that makes Just Joe think that he's a porn star whenever he hears it. When it stops playing, he snaps out of it, and doesn't remember why he is naked, or why he is molesting people. Kal was dancing to the porn music, too, and was getting waaaay too into it, and he was never hypnotized to do so, so he has no excuse. Kal, you were enjoying, um, getting friendly with a naked Just Joe waaaay too much! What the hell is wrong with you!!?? Just Joe later said that strange things had been happening to him, he said someone kept gluing things to his ceiling, different stuff every day. He blamed Kal for this, seeing as how Kal had once glued all his windows and doors shut. Kal denied this, just as he had denied the doors and windows thing, but his protests don't sound very sincere either, and are not very convincing. There was a segment of Movie Time. Just Joe had actually seen a movie to contribute, but Kal had seen nothing. Why not, Kal, after all, you were stuck at home with a non functioning car, you should have had lots of time to watch movies. Probably he was busy gluing stuff to Just Joe's ceiling. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard
Keith from the band Drop Head was therefor about half of the program. Kal was there, and a girl he brings with him who hasn't given us anything to call her yet so, I will call her, the girl Kal brings with him, because I am truly such a creative and original thinker, she was there as well. Just Joe however, he was not there, or at least not 'til much later than he usually arrives, he didn't get there 'til 2:30, almost half the program was over. Kal was wearing a really weird hat, it had a crab on top of it! He said the crab was named Lamar. Um, Ok, Kal, whatever! Kal kept getting picked on about the crab. When Just Joe finally did arrive, he blamed Kal for his absence. Last week, Kal had accused Just Joe of sabotaging his car so he hadn't been able to get to LE two weeks ago. Just Joe had accused Kal of randomly gluing things to his ceiling, a different thing every day. Just Joe said that was still going on, and he still blamed Kal, but now he also blamed Kal for something else. He said he had been watching TV, and then, suddenly, everything had gotten very blurry. He said his contacts had gone missing, and he blamed Kal. Kal denied it, and, really, it is kind of hard to believe that Just Joe wouldn't notice that Kal was at his house, that he was removing his contacts from his eyes. I mean, really, wouldn't you notice if suddenly someone was there who wasn't before, and they took the contacts right out of your eyes as you were watching TV?! Just Joe said Kal had licked his eyes to remove them. Again, wouldn't you notice if, on top of everything I just said, they were licking your eyeballs?! All this was pointed out to Just Joe, but he said that Kal had licked his eyeballs before, and that, the more you do something, the better you get at it, so Kal could have gotten really good at it. Well, I guess that is true, but still, anyone would notice something like that! Anyone would, but we are talking about Just Joe here, he is not like anyone else, he is truly like no one, so, maybe... Something was done that hadn't been in a long time... They played Russian Roulette. Russian Roulette, is where a set of music is played, and the computer randomly picks the songs. A bullet is any cheesy glam hair band '80's song, any overly played song that made it to the mainstream, or two cover songs. If any of that occurs, a penalty is given to someone. Tonight, the rules were thus... If a bullet played on an even number, Kal would have to take the penalty. If it fell on an odd number, Just Joe would have to take it, which is fitting, because Just Joe is certainly very odd, although, honestly, Kal is, too. If no bullet played, then Keith would get to decide who would take the punishment. And just what was the punishment I'm sure you are all asking? Either Just Joe, or Kal, would have to lie down on the floor, have a DVD player placed on top of them, and the girl Kal brought with him would pound on the DVD player with a giant hammer, and, of course, that means on the person lying under it, until the DVD player was broken. No Bullet. So Keith picked Kal, because of the crab. In fact, he wanted Kal to take off the crab hat, put it under the DVD player, so the crab would get hammered. See, Kal, what wearing stupid head wear can get you, Keith probably would have picked Just Joe, Just Joe has sat on his lap many times, if not for your crab. So the girl Kal brought with him repeatedly whacked the DVD player, the crab, excuse me, Lamar, and Kal, with the giant hammer. It took quite a few whacks to thoroughly break it. Then Just Joe started beating on Kal with the broken DVD player for stealing his contacts, and gluing stuff to his ceiling. Kal fought back with the broken DVD player, and they brawled. The girl Kal brought with him had brought a taser, and Just Joe got zapped with it. For a while, he appeared to be dead. Later on, he got knocked out with it again, and The girl tied his shoe laces together while he was out. There were two segments of Movie Time, with everybody participating at some point, well, everyone except for Just Joe, he hadn't seen any movies. He has now finished viewing the TV series "Lost", but now he is working his way through the TV series "Fringe". The last hour of the program was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Just Joe was absent. Azkath said he had gotten a phone call from him earlier in the week, and Just Joe had screamed that there was two of them now, and that was all he said, and then he hung up, so Azkath had no idea what he had been talking about. Keith, from the band Drop Head, was there, as was Kal, and the girl he brings with him, who this week gave us a name to call her, Raven. Azkath accused Kal of being responsible for Just Joe's not being there, and wanted to know what he had done to him this time. Kal denied having anything to do with it, but no one much believed him. Russian Roulette was played. The computer picks a set of music randomly, if a bullet plays, someone has to take a punishment. A bullet is any cheesy glam hair band '80's song, any song that made it to the mainstream and is over played, any weird, bizarre song, or two cover songs. As a result of this one, Raven got to break records over Keith and Kal's heads. Then everyone started breaking records on each other, Azkath stabbed Keith's head with shards of broken record, and everyone got involved in the action. Everyone started compiling a list of all of the things that are wrong with Kal. It's a really long list, Kal is one messed up dude. As he had been last week, he was once again wearing a hat with a big crab on it. He calls the crab Lamar, as in Headie Lamar, the actress, because the crab is on his head, get it, oh, Kal, you are so clever, and he talks to the crab. Azkath told Keith and Raven to hide the crab, and make Kal try to find it. They did, and Kal searched all over, but could not find it, so they did a really good job of hiding it. Kal was quite distraught without Lamar. There was a segment of Movie Time, with everyone participating. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Rick from The Metallic Onslaught was there, as was Ken, Adam, Nikki, Kyle, Raven, Bryan from the band Sorrow Of Batavia, and, Just Joe was back after a weeks absence. Just Joe filled us in on why he had been away. Azkath had said that Just Joe had called him, screaming that now there were two of them, but that was all he had said, and he had not heard from him since. So now Just Joe elaborated. It seems he has a wife, and this wife has now popped another spawn, the first one was a girl, this one is a boy. Just Joe said he had had no idea this was going to happen until suddenly there were two spawn instead of just the one. When asked if he hadn't maybe gotten a clue when his wife's belly expanded a lot, he said he hadn't wanted to mention it, because well, people put on weight, and that is not generally a subject you want to broach with a woman, at least not to ask if she has put on weight, to ask if she's lost it, is a different matter, but I digress. He said he was going to find out who was responsible for this new spawn. When they asked if he didn't think it was him, he said possibly, he couldn't remember that far back. You might think it would be really hard to miss something like this, but it is Just Joe we are talking about here, and he is well, a unique individual. Just Joe said he was going to do a full scale investigation into this matter, he would not stop until he had uncovered the culprit. He asked Adam and Bryan if they were responsible, they said not that they knew of. Bryan told us a bunch of stories about stupid stuff he has done that has resulted in his being injured and/or hospitalized, like getting attacked by an ostrich when he was a kid, and pretending he was going to smack his head on a table with a really sharp corner... And then actually accidentally doing it and busting his head open. He also shared with us that he can do a neat trick, he can put his testicles back up inside, so it looks like his sack is empty. Um, Bryan, too much information! No one wanted to see him demonstrate this trick, they all just took his word for it. He also told us how, on New Years, he got really drunk, met two lesbians, they really liked him, so now he is going to be the ring bearer at their upcoming wedding. The artist The Commander-In-Chief phoned in at 3:00 for an extended interview conducted by Azkath and Rick. During this interview all four of the songs on her new EP were played, and she told us a bit about each one of them. She rocks, is her website, and she is also on facebook and youtube. Russian Roulette was played. The computer plays a set of music, picking the songs randomly, and, if a bullet plays, someone has to take a penalty. A bullet is any cheesy glam hair band song, any over played song that made it to the mainstream, any weird, bizarre song, or two cover songs. As a result of this Russian Roulette, Raven got to throw Bryan into a big pile of mousetraps. His screams were quite loud and long. After that, Raven tazed him on each ass cheek. He said that had hurt as much as the mousetraps. For the rest of the night, Raven kept taunting him with the tazer, he would keep freaking out if she came near him with it, making him think she was going to use it, but then not doing it. Well, that is because the anticipation of something can make you freak out just as much as it actually happening to you. He did however give his consent to letting her taze him again the next time he is there, but he didn't want it again this night. He did manage to take it and not pass out, like Just Joe had done, twice, when it had been done to him a couple weeks back. Bryan pointed out that he has a bigger butt than Joe does, more padding to shield him, a little, anyways. Then Azkath chopped Bryan in the chest. Bryan said that that had been as bad as the tazing, in a different way, the tazer hurt more, but the pain was over quicker. He did not however consent to getting chopped again next time, so... So Bryan had quite a night, quite a painful night, getting tossed into a lot of mousetraps, being tazed, and getting chopped. There were two segments of Movie Time, with most everyone contributing, Just Joe had actually seen two movies, and parts of two TV series, despite having two spawn to help look after now. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Rick and Ken, from The Metallic Onslaught, were there, as were, Raven, and Bryan (from the band Sorrow Of Batavia). Russian Roulette was played, where the computer picks a set of music at random, and, if a bullet plays, someone has to be punished. A bullet is any cheesy glam hair band song, any over played song that went mainstream, any weird, bizarre song, or two cover songs. A cover of Duran Duran's "Hungry Like The Wolf" played! Which definitely qualifies as a bullet if anything ever did. The penalty was that Bryan had to sit against a board, which was wrapped in barbed wire, while Raven tazed the barbed wire board, then Just Joe gave him a lapdance, pushing him really into the barbed wire. Poor Bryan, all those bad things at once, sitting on barbed wire, having it electrified, getting a lapdance from Just Joe, impaling you even more on the barbed wire! I wonder which of those was the worst? Later, Raven tazed Just Joe. Usually, he passes right out from that, but this time it took two tazings to put him out, he must be becoming immune to it, so it takes more of it to knock him out. Then Brian got tazed again. There were two segments of Movie Time, almost no one had seen anything, so only Azkath, Raven, and Foul Mouth Girl could contribute. And, there were two segments of Book Time, in each of which, Azkath read an excerpt from the book "Dimensions", by Jacques Vallee, a renown writer on the topic of UFOs. Just Joe noticed, thankfully not 'til near the end of the night, when Rick was about to leave, that Rick was wearing a Goatwhore shirt, because, apparently, he has to scream Goatwhore not only when he hears the word, but when he sees it as well, so, as long as he was looking at it, he kept shouting it, and Bryan joined in with him. If he had seen that at the beginning of the night, the whole program would have consisted of nothing but the two of them yelling Goatwhore. Just Joe was asked how his investigation into who had fathered his new spawn was going. Last week, he had told us that his wife had popped out another spawn, a boy this time, and he, being that it is Just Joe we are talking about here, had been totally surprised by this. He said he was going to launch a full scale investigation into just who was responsible for this, as he couldn't remember nine months back if it had been him, which I'm quite sure it probably was, Just Joe is just, well, dumb like that. He said his investigation was still in progress, and that it was going well, he was slowly eliminating possibilities. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Rick, from The Metallic Onslaught, was there. So was Dave, from the band Spater, he is also the creator of The Finger Lakes Metal Fest, which would be that May, where Spater, and nineteen other bands would be performing. He was interviewed about that, and lots of Spater's music was played. They rock, is their website, and, is the website for The Finger Lakes Metal Fest. Just Joe has been conducting an investigation into why he has a new kid. Even though everyone told him that it was, in all likely hood his fault that he has another spawn, Just Joe is dumb, so he wasn't excepting that. He said he had been slowly eliminating candidates, and he now said he was sure he had found the culprit. He accused Kal of being responsible! Kal denied it, and everyone else told Just Joe that, though Kal is probably responsible for a lot of other things, A LOT OF OTHER THINGS, that this... Probably not so much. I mean, nine months ago, Kal wasn't even legal! Just Joe said he was sure he was right, that Kal had been avoiding him for that very reason. They argued it back and forth, and Azkath said they would let the computer decide, because, after all, computers are all knowing, and always right, so, if the computer says it, then it must be true. Russian Roulette was played. The computer would play a set of music at random. If a bullet, I.,E., any cheesy glam hair band song, any over played song that went mainstream, any weird, bizarre song, or two cover songs, played, Kal was guilty, and would be tazed by Raven, no bullet, Just Joe was guilty, and would be tazed by Raven. No bullet. So it is decided, once and for all, Just Joe is responsible for his own spawn, and he got tazed on each ass cheek, which serves him right for being responsible for another mini him, that is what the world really needed! Just Joe said they were going to play something that they hadn't played in a long time... What's In Just Joe's Pants. And what was in Just Joe's pants was Foul Mouth Girl's cell phone. I think she will now be looking to buy a new cell phone! Kal had been wearing a hat with a big crab on it, he says the crab's name is Lamar, because it goes on his head, so after the actress Heady Lamar, get it? Oh, Kal, you are so clever. A few weeks ago, Raven had hidden Lamar, and Kal had not been able to find her. He was still very upset about this. Tonight, the tazer went missing, and, although no one, except Just Joe, had thought that Kal was responsible for Just Joe's kid, everyone did think he was responsible for the missing tazer, no matter how much he denied it. After a while, Raven told him it was his last chance to admit to it. He didn't, and she tazed him and knocked him out. Evidently she found it. Azkath told Just Joe he should go home and apologize to his wife, and spend time with his new spawn, as he had probably been neglecting it, with his investigation conducting and all. Now that he had to except that it was his, he should get to know it. So Just Joe went home a half an hour early. There were two segments of Movie Time, with everyone participating, including Mark Anbinder, a long time WVBR personality. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;The band Just A Memory was there in the first portion of the program. They promoted their upcoming participation in the next The Last Exit For The Lost Presents Show. They performed three songs live and acoustic on the air, and their music was played from CD as well. They are very cool, you can find them on facebook and youtube. Kal was there, but only for a little while, then he disappeared, and no one knew where he had gone. It was speculated that perhaps he left with the band, since, after they were gone, so was he, but who knows, it is Kal, after all, with him, anything is possible. Two people were there who had not been in a long time. No, if you guessed Dave, he is still living up to his so richly deserved title of worst co-host ever in the world, and was not present. But Shane and Gorgar were, neither of them had been there in quite some time. Also there were, Rick and Ken from The Metallic Onslaught, Adam and Nikki, and Raven. Russian Roulette was played. If a bullet played, Raven would get to pick whom she would body slam onto a board that was covered in barbed wire, and then she would electrify the barbed wire board with the tazer. If no bullet played, then Raven would have to go into the basement and listen to the Metallica with Lou Reed album, a fate no one deserves. Two cover songs played, which is a bullet, so Raven would get to pick who would go into the electrified barbed wire. She chose Azkath, so that is what happened, making the first time Azkath has ever taken the penalty for a bullet. There were two segments of Movie Time, about half the people were able to contribute, including Just Joe, who, for once, had actually seen movies, like four of them. And Mark Anbinder, a long time WVBR personality, participated in one of the segments. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...
